STADT Studio Ltd. is a Multidisciplinary architecture studio, based in Belize since 2016, with a team of professionals including architects, engineers, and designers who make up an international network of people who work together to meet the expectations of each of our clients.

The STADT Studio Ltd. team has extensive experience and knowledge in architecture, engineering, urban planning, interior design, and construction at different scales and scenic levels, for commercial, public, and private buildings.

The principles on which the company operates are collected on the mission, vision, and values of the same, focused on providing service-oriented client, committed to society and the environment.

Team

In our team, we have architects, structural, electrical, industrial, and civil engineers, interior designers, CAD and BIM technicians who handle the latest trends in design programs, and administrative staff to support business and legal management. We collaborate closely with clients, translating their dreams into functional, breathtaking design that seamlessly blend with Belize’s landscape and culture.

Team Lead

Arnaldo Hernandez, the leading architect at Stadt Studio.

Arnaldo R. Hernandez P. Arch Born in Belize in 1981. Obtained a Bachelor of Architecture at the Universidad Tecnologica de La Habana. In 2007 prior to the completion of his Studies, he was selected as the best student in an international workshop for young architects and was offered the opportunity to work in Switzerland for  Herzog & de Meuron ( HdeM). During this time, he was also a guest student as Studio Basel – ETH. While at HdeM he participated in several projects that were based in Abu Dhabi, England, and Switzerland, among them, the expansion of the Tate Modern 2 Gallery in London.

Also participated in the prototype development of the Tenerife table with HdeM Principal Carpenter Roman Abei. Upon returning to Belize, he collaborated with other Architects and Engineers on projects such as VACA Hydro Electric Project, Belcampo Jungle Resort and Farm and Harvest Caye Boat House and snorkel platform, and others. Also he has held key positions in various government and statutory bodies such as the City Planner of Belize City and The Director of Building Control at the Central Building Authority.

In parallel he has worked as a consultant Architect for Robert Dame Design and Zurcher Architects just to name a few. In 2016 he established STADT Studio along with the Industrial Engineer, Ana Virginia Fernandez. In 2018, he achieved his Master’s Degree in Building Information Model (BIM) Management at Rey Juan Carlos University, Spain.
